When we are on a trip, finding accommodation with good source of internet connection is really crucial to us. Even though it looks like we’re in a constant vacation, behind close doors we still have work to do and that’s what we call “Life of a Digital Nomad” .
It was a 7 hour ride from Puerto Princesa, Palawan going to our destination, the paradise- El Nido. There’s no question why there are so many tourists in this place. They have the amazing sunset, beautiful cliffs, white sand beaches, fresh seafood and everything you can think of! When you get to see the beach your 7 hour long drive is all WORTH IT! WORTH IT!
We were not familiar with the place at all. We don’t know where to go but that’s part of our adventure! There are a lot of tour company in the mainland- Puerto Princesa that offers tour services and hotel accommodations but we didn’t go that far. On our way to El Nido my boyfriend booked our first hotel for 3 nights but we ended up booking another one on our second day because of internet issue. We then found this hotel and there are a lot of reviews from other tourists and foreigners about how good and stable the internet was.
CliffSide Cottages is the hotel who saved our day and made our trip easier and more fun! The owner was so nice and hospitable. They have 3 internet routers to make sure their guests are comfortable and satisfied. The rooms are so clean and in a decent size. It has stores nearby, bank, tour companies and some food stalls and restaurants along with other hotels. What I like about this place is the view! I never lived in a place near a cliff so that was a whole new experience for me. Our room was on the second floor with a sliding window so I can really have the cliff view and it was perfect!
They also offer motorbike rentals. It was ₱500 a day, and you can go wherever you want as long as you put the gas back right after. They also offer tour services if you don’t have one yet. You can coordinate with the owner and her assistant and they will do the work for you. They work with different touring services around the area as well. If you are looking for a place with WIFI and budget friendly in El Nido, you can definitely check this one out!
