Malaysia is one of the cleanest developing countries with spectacular views in South East Asia. Travelers visit this country for different purposes. Whether you came because of a business trip or a vacation, you need to have a visa.
Many travelers are exempt and don’t need to get a visa prior entering Malaysia. But if you are not exempt then you need to get this from your home country before traveling. Remember, regardless if you need a visa or not your passport must be valid for at least 6 months. If your passport is not fully valid your airline may not allow you to board and the immigration authority will not permit you to land in Malaysia.
Upon arrival, the immigration officers will place an entry stamp known as “social visit pass”. The stamp will grant you to stay for 14 to 90 days depending on your nationality.
